We put our passion for sparkling wine into everything we do. Passion for sparkling wine is what drives us – and what we want to ignite in others.

In 1984, the desire to do something great was born. Since then, they have been going new ways and producing high-quality sparkling wine in traditional bottle fermentation. At this time, this was pretty unthinkable for many in Germany. Today, they cultivate 10 hectares of vineyards as a family, organically of course. They have a great passion for the classic Burgundy grape varieties such as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier.

Their sites in Rheinhessen and the Palatinate allow them to produce base sparkling wines that have minerality, depth, and complexity. The grapes, which they harvest by hand, are processed gently and only the heart of the grape – the cuvée pressing – is used for their sparkling wine.

Their decision to focus exclusively on producing quality sparkling wine is helping them bring German sparkling wine to more international attention. Since 2020, they have also been a member of the VDP (Verband Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter) – the first pure sparkling wine producer – and are thus bringing the German sparkling wine scene further forward internationally.
